This was a story book I produced for an Illustration class. It was written and illustrated by me and will be produced into an actual picture book for the final critique.
The story focuses around the character, Mr. Mantis, in his pursuit to find a friend with a bit of a twist at the end. It’s a simple story with a simple rhyme scheme.

These thumbnails were created using traditional mediums like pen and paper. Thumbnails are an important part of any design and a story book is no exception. It was important to determine the layout for not only page composition, but for the layout of the text later down the line.
